Our appartment is in the ground floor with a view on the meadows, woods and the village. It consists of a bedroom with a double-bed or two sepearte beds (depending on our guests´ preferences), and also two armchairs from which you can look outside through the very large window. The living room is equipped with TV, free WiFi, a sofa (that can be converted into another bed), table with chairs. There is also a small kitchen with fridge, oven and stove. In nfront of the appartment, in front of the house there is a small terrace to read, talk or have a drink. The appartment is not air-conditioned, because this is extremely unusual in private households in Germany and hardly ever useful, because even in summer it does rarely ever get very hot. Our house is a small side-valley and located above our village. In summer nights, we usually have a pleasantly cooling wind coming down from the hills. It is extremely quiet around the house, because the village is smalll (even though it is very close to Freiburg) and there are only a couple other houses up our street.
